Ciara and the horses
I started really riding when I was about 6 or 7 years old on a horse named Macho. I did ride before him on my own horse Jack but he was really just a horse to pack little kids around. I was riding Macho for lessons when I met Tom. Macho later on got gelded and sold and I had to move onto other horses.
This is Sugar. I started riding her when I was about 8 years old. She is Darcy Hardy's horse but I rode her in Omoksee events and ya we really had our times but she was a good horse for me. I got the most the most improved rider award ha ha ha. Then my mom and I got with tom and he introduced me to the show horses and showing.
I was 9 years old when I started riding Unique. Tom introduced me to Joani Kissock and they both worked to help me into the show world. I started out in walk trot classes and I did pretty well in the paint and open shows. Then well, I guess it was my mom that got the new horse...........
This is Lace my ........... I mean my MOM's horse. I started riding Lace and we, Tom and I, decided that I was going to ride Lace in the shows. We did well in the paint and open shows. I went to Joanis' camp with her and went to allot of shows. Then Joani, Tom and my mom talked me into getting a quarter horse.
Yes this is my quarter horse Duncan. I am currently showing him. I showed him last year. We bought him at Joanis' where he was boarded. He has done very well for me in the past year with so much of Joanis' and Tom's help........oh and Jim's especially and Joani thanks for putting up with me in your house.
